This is a 12-week hands-on technical training program developed by Asamaka Industries Ltd. in partnership with the Ontario Government. It equips participants with skills in robotics, PLC, HMI programming and electrical design.
The program prioritizes individuals from underrepresented and underserved communities, including African, Caribbean, and Indigenous populations. However, all applicants interested in building skills in automation and robotics are encouraged to apply.
We offer three specialized programs:
- PLC & HMI Programmer Training
- Robot Programmer Training
- Electrical Design Training
Each program is 12 weeks long and costs $700 CAD.
No prior experience is required. The courses are structured from beginner to advanced levels, making them accessible to both skilled and unskilled individuals.
Yes. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certification from Asamaka Industries Ltd., recognizing their technical training and industry readiness.
Registration is a 3-step process:
1. Complete the participant registration form
2. Await application review and approval
3. Make the program payment of $700
Cohort 1: July 7, 2025 - October 7, 2025 (Registration opens May 1st)
Cohort 2: October 27, 2025 - January 30, 2026 (Registration opens August 4th)
The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining both online instruction and in-person lab training at our facility in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
