SinceVision’s New SR9520 3D Laser Profiler Brings 67kHz Micro Inspection to the Factory Floor
The push for denser lithium batteries, miniaturized 3C electronics, and tighter semiconductor packaging has created a persistent headache for quality control: the micro inspection bottleneck. As machining tolerances shrink to the sub micron level, automated assembly lines are hitting a wall.
Historically, automation engineers have been forced into a frustrating compromise. Traditional inspection equipment either offers a field of view that is too large, sacrificing the detail resolution required for micro workpieces or it meets the precision standards but completely fails to keep pace with the aggressive cycle times of modern automated production lines.
The SinceVision team is stepping into this gap with the launch of the SR9520, the newest flagship 3D laser profiler in their SR9000 Series. Designed specifically for B2B industrial automation, the hardware tackles the physics of micro inspection by operating at an incredibly tight 18 mm reference distance and compressing the line width to the 8 mm level.

What makes the SR9520 notable for system integrators is the raw speed paired with exact hardware metrics. The unit pushes a maximum scanning frequency of 67000 Hz while maintaining a Z axis repeatability of 0.1 μm and generating 4096 X axis profile points. By challenging the standard limits of line lasers, the SR9520 delivers a mature, mass production level 3D inspection solution without forcing engineers to throttle their line speeds.
