INFFNI, a Sub-brand of DOBOT Robotics, Makes Its Mark at CES 2026

Las Vegas, Jan. 6–9, 2026 — INFFNI, the consumer-focused sub-brand of DOBOT Robotics, participated in CES 2026 in Las Vegas, marking DOBOT’s continued expansion from its established strengths in industrial-precision robotics into consumer-oriented intelligent machines. Building on DOBOT’s long-standing expertise in motion control, system integration, and robotic engineering, INFFNI presented its latest intelligent robotics portfolio designed for household, interactive, and research-oriented applications.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, INFFNI attracted steady interest from industry professionals, developers, and international media, with live demonstrations serving as a key point of engagement and technical discussion.

Practical Mobility Demonstrated Through Live Operation

Among the showcased platforms, Rover X1, an intelligent quadruped robot, drew particular attention through continuous live demonstrations that emphasized practical mobility and autonomous interaction. Rather than static display, INFFNI highlighted real-world operation to showcase the platform’s functional capabilities.

CES 2026

Rover X1 features a hybrid wheel-leg mobility system that enables smooth transitions between wheeled movement and legged locomotion. During demonstrations, the platform reached speeds of up to 1.8 m/s and successfully navigated obstacles including a 16 cm step and a 35° incline. Feedback from attending engineers and robotics specialists consistently focused on operational efficiency and movement stability.

Autonomous Perception in Dynamic Environments

INFFNI also highlighted Rover X1’s real-time perception and autonomous navigation capabilities in the crowded CES environment. In unscripted interactions with attendees, the robot was able to detect people in its path and dynamically adjust its movement, navigating around obstacles with smooth, calculated motion.

These capabilities are supported by an integrated vision system designed for real-time environmental awareness. Throughout the exhibition, Rover X1 demonstrated adaptive following without reliance on direct remote control, underscoring INFFNI's emphasis on situational intelligence in shared human environments.

An Open and Extensible Robotics Platform

Beyond live demonstrations, INFFNI positioned Rover X1 as a modular platform for developers, researchers, and educators. Standardized expansion interfaces enable the integration of external modules, supporting a wide range of applications such as mobile sensing, filming, and payload transport.

This open architecture allows Rover X1 to evolve beyond its initial configuration, reinforcing its role as a flexible foundation for experimentation and innovation across multiple use cases.
