Asamaka Scholarship Fund: Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators in Canada
Asamaka Industries Ltd., a leader in automation and engineering innovation, proudly announces the establishment of the Asamaka Scholarship Fund, a dedicated initiative to empower students across Canada pursuing studies in engineering, technology, and skilled trades.
Administered by the WindsorEssex Community Foundation (WEC Foundation), the Asamaka Scholarship Fund aims to reduce financial barriers to education and create opportunities for aspiring innovators to thrive in a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
“At Asamaka Industries, we believe education is the cornerstone of innovation,” said Engr. Eddie Asamaka, Founder of Asamaka Industries Ltd. “Having personally witnessed how access to education can transform lives and entire communities, we were inspired to create a fund that opens doors for young people especially those passionate about advancing technology, engineering, and the skilled trades.”
The fund was established in honor of Edward Ewere Asamaka, whose vision, values, and lifelong commitment to excellence continue to inspire the company’s dedication to education and community development.
Through this scholarship, Asamaka Industries seeks to support diverse talents, foster inclusion, and nurture the next generation of thinkers, builders, and leaders who will shape Canada’s future industries. By partnering with the WindsorEssex Community Foundation, the fund ensures transparent management, community impact, and long-term sustainability.
“WEC Foundation is proud to collaborate with Asamaka Industries in supporting local talent,” said a spokesperson for the Foundation. “Together, we’re investing in education and empowering young people to achieve their potential while strengthening the skilled workforce that drives innovation in our region.”
