CCS America Announces 2026 Technical Roundtables to Bridge Machine Vision Lighting Knowledge Gap
Woburn, MA — December 9, 2025 — CCS America, a one-stop shop lighting provider for machine vision, is pleased to announce the return of its Technical Roundtable training series in 2026. These free, all-day in-person events are designed to empower engineers and integrators with the lighting expertise critical to reliable vision system performance.
Held quarterly in cities across the U.S., the Technical Roundtable is the only machine vision lighting training that "comes to the customer"—making expert-led, application-driven learning more accessible to engineers outside major industry hubs. In 2026, events will take place in
- Denver, CO (February 5)
- Rochester, NY (April 30)
- Memphis, TN (August 27)
- Hoffman Estates, IL (November 5)
“Lighting is often the silent cause of unreliable inspections and system redesigns,” said Lindsey Sullivan, Technical Marketing Manager and roundtable presenter. “The Technical Roundtable is designed to help engineers rethink how they evaluate lighting, so they can solve problems before they happen, not after.”
Each roundtable features a full day of foundational knowledge with hands-on testing. Sessions include:
- Common Pitfalls in Machine Vision Lighting – Why vision systems end up without proper lighting and consequently fail to perform according to customer needs.
- Lighting Principles – The physics of light: geometry, wavelength, polarization, and amplitude, broken down with live examples.
- Machine Vision Lighting Control – How to choose and configure lighting controllers for consistent, production-ready performance.
- Hands-On Application Testing – Attendees can test lights on real or sample applications, including their own project samples.
Attendees will also receive a 70% discount on select lighting products to help build or expand their in-house vision testing capabilities.
Engineers, application specialists, and system integrators who have attended past roundtables have described it as “incredibly helpful,” “very informative,” and “hands-on in the best way”. One attendee commented, “Lighting is critical and this filled the gaps in my knowledge of MV.”
With increasing system complexity and a growing need for inspection reliability, CCSA’s Technical Roundtable delivers a blend of theory and practice, helping attendees leave with knowledge they can immediately apply on the job.
