ECM EVP Robert Luchars to Speak on The Future of Electric Motor Innovation for Automation at Automate 2024
Luchars will detail how advancing 21st century automation will require a nextgen upgrade to electric motor design, optimization, and manufacturing.
Needham, Mass – Robert Luchars — EVP of US electric motor design and software company ECM PCB Stator Tech — will speak at Automate 2024 at Chicago’s McCormack Place Convention Center Wed., May 8, at 10:15 am in room S401D. Luchars will welcome audience questions at the presentation.
In his talk titled “How Electric Motor Design Innovation Will Advance Automation,” Luchars will cover macro-market trends for electric motors and technological breakthroughs to improve machine optimization, efficiency, performance, and manufacturing. He will also provide an overview of regulatory initiatives to mandate Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for electric motors and new design practices to help automated industries comply.
Luchars will further offer use cases of electric motor innovation for automation in verticals including consumer electronics, advanced robotics, and maritime and aerospace.
Mr. Luchars’ talk follows ECM accepting the 2024 Automate Innovation Award for Software for its PrintStator Motor CAD platform earlier in the week. ECM has an exhibit at Automate 2024 at booth #3476.
