Electromate Highlights Tolomatic RSX50 Electric Actuator with Force up to 100,000 lbf

Roller screw actuator supports hydraulic cylinder replacement in demanding industrial applications

VAUGHAN, ONTARIO, October 12, 2026 – Electromate highlights Tolomatic’s RSX50 electric linear actuator for Canadian machine builders evaluating alternatives to hydraulic cylinders. Rated for up to 100,000 lbf (445 kN), the RSX50 brings high force capacity to electrically controlled linear motion.

The RSX design uses precision-ground planetary roller screws and is designed for 100 percent duty cycle. Applications include assembly, metal pressing, punching and clamping, automotive production, timber processing and motion simulation.

Standard IP65 protection and optional IP67 protection support operation in demanding environments. Hard-coat anodized aluminum housings and an internal anti-rotation feature form part of the actuator’s construction. Re-lubrication access and a breather/purge port support maintenance and contamination management.

Tolomatic’s Your Motor Here configuration accommodates servo motors and gearboxes up to 320 mm frame size. Stroke options and mounting options let you specify the ideal actuator for your machine.
