MiTAC Digital Technology Unveils PD10PTI for High-Performance Edge AI Computing Powered by Intel Panther Lake
Taoyuan, Taiwan, May 29, 2026 – MiTAC Digital Technology (MDT) today announced the launch of the PD10PTI, a next-generation Thin Mini-ITX industrial motherboard powered by the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors (Panther Lake-H), which integrate a CPU, GPU and always-on AI engine NPU into a single chip.
Designed to accelerate advanced edge AI applications, the compact PD10PTI combines high-performance AI inferencing, industrial-grade reliability, and flexible system integration in a standard embedded form factor.
As generative AI, machine vision, and autonomous systems continue to drive the evolution of edge computing, enterprises increasingly require AI-ready platforms capable of delivering real-time inferencing closer to where data is generated. The PD10PTI addresses these demands with up to 180 TOPS of total AI platform performance, enabling low-latency AI processing while reducing dependence on cloud infrastructure.
Built for Diverse Industrial Power Environments
Unlike conventional industrial motherboards limited to narrower DC input ranges such as 12V–24V or 19V–36V, the PD10PTI supports a continuous 12V–28V wide-range DC input, providing greater deployment flexibility across factory automation, robotics, and outdoor edge installations.
This broader power compatibility allows customers to standardize on a single platform across multiple deployment scenarios, helping reduce system qualification complexity, simplify inventory management, and accelerate time-to-market for edge AI solutions.
Scalable Connectivity for Edge AI Infrastructure
The PD10PTI is engineered to serve as a scalable AI computing platform for modern edge systems. PCIe Gen5 x8 expansion enables high-bandwidth connectivity for AI accelerator cards, vision capture devices, and advanced storage subsystems. Multiple M.2 expansion slots support NVMe SSDs, Wi-Fi 7, and 5G modules for flexible connectivity and storage configurations.
The platform also supports up to 128GB DDR5 memory at 7200 MT/s, delivering the memory bandwidth required for intensive AI workloads. In addition, dual Intel Ethernet connectivity, including 1GbE and 2.5GbE LAN, further enhances high-speed industrial networking and edge communications.
