Taipei, Taiwan – Oct. 13, 2025 – Neousys Technology, a leading manufacturer of rugged embedded systems, today unveiled the NRU-160-FT series, a compact and fanless edge AI computer powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Nano. Featuring a unique flattop heatsink design, the NRU-160-FT is optimized for thermal dissipation in sealed or waterproof enclosures with affordability, making it ideal for applications such as smart agriculture vehicles, outdoor AMRs, and industrial inspection systems.

NRU-160-FT combines the efficient AI performance of NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Nano with the thermal advantages of its flattop heatsink for direct cabinet contact and a low-profile footprint, cabinet-ready size that simplifies deployment in sealed environments. With -25°C to 70°C fanless operation and features designed for in-vehicle and in-robot applications, NRU-160-FT ensures 70°C non-throttling performance with CPU and GPU at full load in 25W TDP mode when mounted on an aluminum enclosure or plate, while maintaining a cost-effective design that balances performance, reliability, and scalability for diverse industrial and agricultural AI applications.

NRU-160-FT series includes two variants: the NRU-161V-FT with support for up to six GMSL2 automotive cameras via FAKRA Z connectors, and the NRU-162S-FT offering four PoE+ GbE ports with rugged M12 connectors. Both models feature a low-profile 199 x 136 x 49 mm chassis, purpose-built for cabinet installation where space is limited and active cooling is not feasible.
